At Jacob's Well, we want to live for Jesus. We are not a group of perfect people who believe that we have it all together; we are people who have problems, experience struggles, and make mistakes. But Jesus does not expect us to be perfect or even good enough, instead he says I love you so come as you are. Because of this, we want to follow Jesus and be a community of people who know and love God, who love and serve others, and whose lives are transformed by the power of the gospel.
Jacob's Well is now meeting every Sunday at at Sugar Land's Incredible Pizza Company on Hwy 6 between Williams Trace and Settler's Way. These worship gatherings are our first step in starting regular worship services. They are a casual no-commitment opportunity for you and your friends to come worship with us and discover what Jacob's Well is all about. Everyone is welcome and children's ministry is available for children through 5th grade.
At the beginnnig of October we started a new sermon series on the New Testament book of Ephesians. As a new church we are excited to study this book of the bible which more than any other book addresses God's grace, hope, unity and purpose in the life of the church and the lives of God's people.
Our hope is that through this study we will learn more about God's infinite grace and love for his people, who are his church, and that as a church we will learn to better become all that God has called us to to be. So make plans to come check us out atJacob's Well Church.
