Community

"Behold, how good and pleasant it is when
brothers dwell together in unity"

-Psalm 133:1 (English Standard Version)

In our hectic and splintered world, people often feel alone and disconnected from one another. We believe a New Testament church should not only proclaim the gospel, but also provide community for disconnected people. At Jacob's Well, we want to develop deepening relationships with one another through social activities and ministries carried out in teams. We believe that because of the power of the gospel, people can connect across racial, educational, cultural, and generational lines, to experience genuine biblical community.

At Jacob's Well, one way we build these genuine, biblical relationships is through weekly community groups. This time of relationship building and discussion amongst group members is vital to the health of, and discipleship within, Jacob's Well.
